This is a factory manufactured object that is distributed in and stored in a semifinished state. Modifications and adjustments are required before final application of the product. Prefabricated (factory produced) horseshoes are an example of a semifinished product: The basic form is complete, but the shoe requres fitting and finishing before it can be applied to the hoof.
