Equine Asthma

Equine Asthma is a common disease affecting up to 80% of the equine population. The disease can be mild to moderate or severe and can affect the welfare and performance of horses.  

This course features a webinar given by Professor R. Scott Pirie, an expert in equine inflammatory airway disease, from the University of Edinburgh, UK and is hosted by Charlotte Fersloev, DVM Equine Business Manager for Boehringer Ingelheim in the Nordic Region. Professor Pirie explains the pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of equine asthma and explains how the horse’s environment can be crucial in preventing and managing the disease.
