The distal section of the horse's limb, comprising the three phalanges: the proximal phalanx (long pastern bone), the medial phalanx (short pastern bone ) and the distal phalanx (coffin bone), as well as the distal sesamoid bone (navicular bone).

Extrémité des membres du cheval. Le squelette du doigt est constitué de trois os: la phalange proximale ou P1, la phalange moyenne ou P2 et la phalange distale ou P3. L'articulation interphalangienne distale entre P2 et P3 est complétée en palmaire/plantaire par un os sésamoïde, l'os naviculaire.
Endabschnitt der Pferdegliedmasse. Besteht aus jeweils drei kurzen Zehenknochen: dem Fesselbein, Kronbein und Hufbein (Phalanx I, II und III). Das Hufgelenk zwischen Kronbein und Hufbein wird palmar/plantar von einem Sesambein, dem Strahlbein ergänzt.
